Default Buying shirts (PB compared to OSC)

Thought I would share two experiences

    January 2015 (Planet Bowls)
Attended a tournament and ordered 2 shirts.
Notes made by organiser on a piece of scrap paper
Cash put in back pocket of organiser
Promise of delivery by mid March
Actual delivery August 2015, after many e mails

    October 2015 (OSC)
Attended Grand Final and ordered 2 shirts
Allowed to try on samples for sizes
    Order made on laptop
Confirmation e mail of order and receipt received same day
Promise of delivery within 5 weeks
    Actual delivery 5 weeks

    Such a difference !!

Put off buying a shirt because of poor feedback last season, the OSC seem to have a more professiional all round approach. Would love to see an event in the scottish borders.

Unfortunately there seems no appetite for one or indeed time for one.

Scottish league matches are Saturday and then Scottish cup and team championship is a Sunday.

I have mentioned it a few times and people are interested in the format but that's about it.

There are only 2 clubs in the borders, 1 of which couldn't hold a tournament and the other is tweedbank in galashiels which is a pain to get to.

Plenty clubs in the central belt of Scotland but not much interest.

Hi Guys, thank-you for your kind words and feedback. We're working hard to make the OSC a success and will be doing alot of work during the Summer to continue to improve. Looking forward to seeing you all out on the circuit next season!

There is a possibility that an OSC type of event could be run in Tailand if the interest is forthcoming.
