    Hi,

Decided to take up bowls for a hobby and just had my second coaching session and iíve joined a local indoor club. Slowly getting to grips with the game.

Lots to learn but practice is the key and playing against others will help improve my game and knowledge.

Itís a nice game that i have watched for years and enjoyed. Hope i enjoy playing it.

Welcome to the forum and the world of bowls Richard!

Be sure to practice, surround yourself with good bowlers and most of all enjoy the game!
You can always out-bowl your bad luck in every game!

If you're keen, get your name up to play in your club's internal leagues. Maybe friendlies at the weekend.

In the Kent League (during the winter season) you can come across some good bowlers and you'll find players from the opposing teams willing to help you along.

    Welcome to the forum
