Now really, how many can nominate and do this, you can see by his reaction not even he believed in himself.

Surely not nominated! Just a bit of luck like that seen in almost every match.
    Always willing to learn!

Wish I could get luck like that.

Its a cruel game often, too much bloody luck.

As the golfer Gary Player was wont to say: The more I practice, the luckier I get” - in many sports you have to be good enough to get in the area (the degree of which varies), then it's up to the luck to get the precise result. It's no doubt why 'luck' is ever used as the last of the 3Ls across all activities!

A pure lucky result from a bad shot, however, is an entirely different thing!

I've watched some highlights of BPL11 on YouTube.

The green seems to be pretty quick but it seems that from lead to skip everyone is playing with bowls without much bend.

The highlights only show the good bowls which just miss others in the head. Do many get wrecked?

As for this drive that got lucky ... it happens

Most are using either the Henselite XG Taylor Redline or Aero Optima or Dynamic (Slighter variance on line to Jack Optimas wider draw hockey stick bend, Dynamics straighter line on finish) these are not the tightest bowls we have, if you saw the Aero Turbo Pro, they would almost halve the line of those bowls being used, yet some are actually getting the Tiger Pro's for the wider draw, and smarter thinking because those indoor carpets do track a lot, a wider drawing bowl is a good front end option, the narrower line bowl though makes the run through the head shot simple, no real bend to contend with.

Give these guys all the same equipment though to use and as exhibited in the WBT when they go there, they can't hack it, its an enjoyable trip, but soon on the bus home.
